Chickpea Pate

Ingredients
  • 1 cup cooked or canned chickpeas (garbanzo beans), drained, reserving the liquid
  • 3 tablespoons onion, chopped
  • 3 tablespoons parsley, chopped
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • ½ teaspoon oregano
  • ¼ teaspoon ground cumin
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon liquid from chickpeas
Instructions
  1. Place all ingredients in a food processor or blender and blend well.
  2. Add more liquid if needed.
