Day 3: Nikole’s Shakedown Journal

Hey there, fellow -and future- fat flushers! My name is Nikole and I am going to be taking you along on my fat flushing adventure! I hope that my journals help you to become as passionate as I am about this life changing plan. And for those wondering, it doesn’t just help you lose weight. Yes, that’s an amazing benefit! But your overall health is the important thing here! There is a Fat Flush Plan for everyone! Let me start by introducing myself.

I’m married to the love of my life, have 3 pretty princesses who keep me on my tippy-toes and 2 spoiled pups. I’m a daughter, sister, and friend. I volunteer at my daughters’ school and work as a hair stylist. I love making women feel beautiful! I love the outdoors, working hard and I hope to inspire others with my story. What you see is what you get! I’m an everyday person, running kids around, trying to keep a clean house and juggling a million things at once! So far on my journey, I have lost over 50 lbs and I am the healthiest I have ever been with the Fat Flush way of life. So yes, YOU CAN do it too! Being busy is an excuse I used for many years. As Thomas Jefferson said, “Don’t put off until tomorrow what you can do today.” Take that first step to becoming the new and improved you, and feel the best you have ever felt!

The most common questions I get are, “How did you do it?”, “What do you eat?”,  “How do you do it being a wife and a mom?” and “What do you do when you go out of town or out to eat?” These are questions that I am going to be answering as I take you through my day to day life! Day 3 ♥ Shakedown Food Journal

On arising:
Hot Lemon Water w/ pinch of cinnamon and ginger

Sipping this upon arising will gently help to flush your liver and kidneys of toxins & waste.

Green Life Cocktail:
8 oz cran-water
1 scoop wheat grass
1 scoop Probiotic (Flora-Key)

This purifies your system in one green sweep. The greens, Flora-Key and cran-water work together to clear the path for detoxification.

Breakfast: Strawberry Smoothie
1½ cups cran-water
1 scoop Body Protein Powder
6 frozen strawberries
1 tbsp flax oil
1 tbsp chia seed

Frozen fruits I have come to find are best. Also, the smoothie recipes call for 8 oz. of water or cran-water, but I like to use a lil more depending.

Morning supplements:
Multivitamin
Weight Loss Formula
GLA-90
CLA-1000
B-Complex Forte

Snack: 1 hard boiled egg w/ cayenne

Lunch: Peach Smoothie
1 scoop Body Protein Powder
1 ½ cups cran-water
1 serving frozen peaches
1 tbsp chia seed
1 tbsp flax oil

Afternoon Supplements:
Weight Loss Formula
CLA-1000

Snack: Cucumber & Tomato salad w/ Fat Flush dressing

Dinner:
Tasty Turkey Meatballs (view recipe here or check it out in your Smoothie Shakedown Guide– bottom of pg. 29)
Arugula Salad with different types of peppers

Evening Supplements:
Multivitamin
Weight Loss Formula
GLA-90
CLA-1000

Cran Water/Water for the day: Half my weight in oz.*

No eating after 7.

To bed at 10! Zzzzzzz

 

So, today I surprisingly woke up bright eyed and bushy tailed! Went to bed a little later then I usually do, but I was up before my alarm! Today I had to go grocery shopping and one little trick I’ve learned is to be prepared and make sure you’re not shopping on a hungry tummy! Everything looks more appealing when your tummy is talking to you as you go through the forbidden aisles of the supermarket!

Just a little background, I live in a small mountain town and have to travel an hour away to do my grocery shopping. So being prepared is the best way to go and is your key to success! My mom and I always travel with our little homemade Fat Flush on-the-go kits.

My on-the-go kit includes:

Thermal Travel Bag
Vitamins for the day
(1-2) Hard Boiled Eggs
Veggies or a Salad
Lemon wedges
Approved piece of fruit
FF Salad dressing
*Extra shake if I know I am going to be gone for lunch
Napkin, Straw & Fork.
Plus I always bring a water bottle!

 

Set yourself up for success by taking a moment to pack your own kit! If I know I have a busy day with doing hair, grocery shopping, volunteering or whatever it might be, I always wake up a few minutes earlier to get my drinks in and pack my kit! Those days I neglect to do so, I very much want to kick myself in the shin! Trust me, it’s a little extra work, but worth it! Take time for yourself. Every morning I make breakfast for my husband and kids, plus get the kids ready for school. Most of us do so much for the people we love, we forget to take care of ourselves! Just think, if you aren’t feeling good or taking care of yourself, how will that affect the people around you? Just some food for thought!
