Peach sorbet is the perfect dessert to satisfy, but without all the sugar. Great after a big meal like beef or lamb.

Peach sorbet is the perfect dessert to satisfy, but without all the sugar. Great after a big meal like beef or lamb.
Serves: 4
Ingredients
  • 4 peaches
  • 2 tsp almond extract
  • 1 tsp Flora-Key or Stevia Plus
  • ½ tsp fresh lemon juice
Instructions
  1. Place all ingredients in a blender or food processor and blend until smooth.
  2. Freeze in plastic containers or ice-cube trays for about 2 hours.
  3. Take out partially frozen fruit and stir well to break up ice crystals.
  4. Return to freezer and freeze completely.
  5. Let stand at room temperature 15 minutes before serving.
Notes
This sorbet can be made with other types of fruit and flavorings. Try substituting pears for the peaches and adding ¼ teaspoon of powdered gingerroot.
